Love thing

by Francesco Gulina

Black angel
with your sensual lips,
big
and purple like death,
because they’ll be my death
when I’ll taste them.
As a forbidden fruit
I’ll bite them
and lose my mind
my way
and my soul.

Black angel.
In your body
I smell the depth
of that endless hole
where I’ll fall.
I will forget any pride
and dignity
and open myself to you
whenever you want.

Black angel.
You look me resisting
and laugh.
But you’re scared,
since if I don’t look at you
you lose energy,
if I don’t call you
silence wipes you out.

We should both run away
so we’ll never meet each other,
but I’m afraid it’s too late.
