SIX BILLBOARDS FOR 2020

In 2020 six issues of ILLUSTRATI will be released instead of seven.

And it will also be possible to make a subscription.

SIX ILLUSTRATED BILLOBOARDS FOR 2020

SIX MOMENTS OF REFLECTION ON WHAT SURROUNDS US AND ON OURSELVES

SIX BILLBOARDS ABOUT THE BEAUTIFUL THINGS WE HAVE AND THAT SHORTLY WILL NO LONGER EXIST, BECAUSE OF OUR IGNORANCE.

SIX BILLBOARDS THAT WE WILL HANG ON OUR WALLS, OUR WINDOWS AND, IF WE MANAGE, ALSO ALONG THE STREETS OF OUR CITY.

SIX MOMENTS OF FREEDOM. SIX MESSAGES FOR THOSE WHO SHARE OUR SPACES.

Starting from the film THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING, MISSOURI (Martin McDonagh, 2017) which I recommend you to look for and watch, you are invited to imagine that you had one or more advertising spaces where to hang the beauty, joy and love of the planet that hosts us and the nature to which we belong, which you do not want to lose. But also your thoughts, your despair, the discomfort and the inevitable feeling of being helpless.

Illustrated interpretations of books you have read on the subject are also welcome.

Work format (mandatory): A3 landscape. It can be drawn, painted, photographed, written, calligraphed. Resolution required in case of selection: 1200 dpi.

You will create the billboards and we will try to organize exhibitions, to promote your work in order to cover Italy with YOUR BILLBOARDS! And the best ones, besides being published on ILLUSTRATI, will become postcards that we will send to the authors and distribute at the book fairs we will participate in: the Bologna Children's Book Fair, the Turin International Book Fair, Lucca Comics & Games, Più Libri Più Liberi in Rome.

Participating in the selections, and therefore sending your works to ILLUSTRATI, implies that you agree with the use we will make of your images, which in no case will be for profit.
