Archimedes’ principle

by Gioia Marchegiani

Any body completely or partially submerged in a fluid
at rest is acted upon by an upward force
equal to the weight of the fluid displaced.

I barely move. In search for a sound.
I look at the reflections of light
through my wet eyes.
If you cry in a swimming pool nobody notices it.
I got an F in physics
but I feel weightless
because my body,
completely immersed in the water,
is floating.
