Maïna was one of the many astrologists who enlivened the Grands Boulevards of Paris at the beginning of the Twentieth Century.
An announcement published on a newspaper of the time (Le Matin, 1912) read: “Maïna Juan, queen of the seers, clairvoyant, fortune teller. Her advices and powerful secrets allow people to overcome all odds. She ensures happiness, health, wealth and takes misfortune away. A simple consultation is enough to guarantee good luck. She welcomes clients every day, including Sundays and public holidays (at a cost of 1 franc). Also by correspondence, with answers sent for free.”
